Azalea Festival Behind the Scenes

The set up for the street fair and parade at the 61st North Carolina Azalea Festival 2008. CORRECTION NOTE BELOW. All live persons knew this was going on YouTube and consented to be on camera. In this video you will see some of the streets that are closed down for Saturday and Sundays events. Meet locals and visitors and vendors for the fair. Get a peek behind the scenes while all is quiet and the Friday night crowd had only just started to filter out. You will also see two locations from Dawsons Creek and one from Matlock. You'll meet a UNCW student and out of town visitors. And we all managed to snag a free concert at the end. As luck would have it, when I got close, they started playing blues. How good is my timing. We are Michele and the Midnight Blues and we take the stage between 2-4pm. This is free and open to the public show. The stage is near the foot of Princess on the corner facing Water St and the Battle Ship USS North Carolina. I may try to snag some cool footage of that during our gig. I am taking the camera!
